So you’ve got a case of the Sunday night blahs. We totally get it. No matter how much you love your job, chances are, Monday is definitely not your favorite day of the week. But a little preparation in anticipation of the next five days goes a long way when it comes to maintaining healthy habits and feeling good about yourself. We love following this plan.

 

Tip #1: Stick To A Workout Schedule

Whether it’s a yoga studio, gym, or at-home workouts, set a schedule for yourself and stick to it. If you plan to exercise after work, bring a change of clothes with you and make the switch before heading out the door. The couch can be your worst enemy, so avoiding it at all costs before a workout is a must.

 

Tip #2: Do A Little Meal Planning

Grill up some chicken breasts, make a big batch of quinoa, and cook some veggies for the upcoming week on Sunday so you’ve got a few days’ worth of meals ready to go. Slicing your favorite fruits up ahead of time or going for the convenience cut option is a helpful way to keep nutritious snacks easily accessible. Grab-and-go breakfasts (that are not from a drive thru!) can become your new best friends. Try your hand at making egg muffins or look into superfood shakes.

 

Tip #3: Plan Something Special To Look Forward To

Plan a Happy Hour get together with friends, get a manicure, or pick a night for an at-home spa-like experience. A long, hot bath and a homemade face mask can work wonders. Having something extra fun to look forward to mid-week can make it seem like Saturday comes faster.
