frequently asked questions | Swhey

where beauty | meets nutrition

Where do SWHEY’s ingredients come from?

SWHEY responsibly sources its ingredients from a variety of farms and vendors around the world. The vast majority of our ingredients come from USA based vendors and farms. All sources are cGMP certified - meaning they follow manufacturing practices and standards set forth by the FDA.

Do SWHEY products contain any nuts, gluten, or soy? Are they vegan?

We do our absolute best to identify and use the best ingredients for your wellbeing. Our Alkamist (supergreens & superfruit) product is soy-free, vegan, and nut-free. Our Halo (protein superfood) contains whey & brown rice protein.

Are SWHEY Products Kosher?

Majority of our ingredients are Kosher, but not all.

Is there any caffeine in any of the SWHEY products?

Nope – All our SWHEY products are caffeine-free.

How does SWHEY make its products?

SWHEY has forged partnerships with farmers and vendors to source and hand-pick each ingredient. We work with them to ensure the ingredients are fresh and provide the required nutritional value through an advanced drying process. SWHEY then works to blend all raw ingredients based on the recipe at hand.

How should I be storing my SWHEY products?

All products should be stored in a cool and dry place.

Do SWHEY products ever expire?

There’s a 1-2 year shelf life, however it’s recommended that you use the product within 30 days of receiving your order. We list a manufacturing date or expiration date on outside of each package. Keep in mind you’re consuming natural ingredients.

Anything more you can share about SWHEY’s ingredients?

Our products are organic, non-GMO, and made right here in USA. We’re currently working on obtaining all of our certifications (these things take time) and will post an update once we obtain them.

There are two things we always look for when sourcing ingredients: 1) organic and 2) fair trade. Why do we do this? In addition to your wellness, we want to ensure that farm workers are paid a fair wage. Unfortunately, we’re unable to source every ingredient that falls within these conditions but we do our best to find them where possible.
